I was never interested in law as an academic exercise or a title on a wall. I wanted work that had real consequences for real people. That is exactly what being a Houston personal injury lawyer allows me to do: stand beside families during their most difficult moments and fight for the justice they deserve.

A Personal Understanding of Justice
My sense of advocacy didn’t begin in a courtroom; it began at home. Growing up in an immigrant family, I spoke English as a second language. I saw firsthand how power and language shaped who was treated fairly and who wasn’t. I remember watching my mother—a lawful permanent resident—face unnecessary scrutiny from officials, and I felt the sting of being treated differently because of my accent.
Those experiences gave me a keen sense of justice and a drive to ensure the rules are applied fairly, no matter where you come from.
Learning the "Insurance Game"
After law school, I cut my teeth on personal injury law in St. Louis. I represented people who had suffered catastrophic injuries at the hands of negligent drivers—people whose claims were being minimized or even outright denied.
I learned the insurance adjusters’ and defense attorneys’ game, and I learned how to play it. To them, a claim is just a file number. To me, it represented a life interrupted. I realized then that accident victims deserve an attorney who understands the system from the inside and won’t back down.
Outside of the Office
When I’m not in the courtroom, you’ll likely find me spending time with my kids, golfing, or hitting the gym. I never miss an Astros game, and I love exploring everything the Houston area has to offer.
